Luca Cartoonist - Funny Faces

Luca Cartoonist, born Luca Angelini in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney in particular), he graduated in advertising graphics from the Istituto d'arte of Ascoli Piceno and then completed his artistic studies with a degree in comics and illustration at the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts.
Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different (yet artistic) career path, until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art.
He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today.
He primarily uses acrylic paints, spray cans and mixed media techniques of print and collage on canvas.
Collaborations since 2021 with several Italian art galleries, he participates with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista….)

The work comes directly from the artist's studio, in perfect condition.
The entire painting has been made by hand with acrylic paint on a collage of black-and-white comics on canvas.
