My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive entirely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since I was a child I was fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that often can only be expressed in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are in the foreground. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a canvas frame sized 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsperson or gallery owner.
