Hand-hammered antique Jambati singing bowl, thin-walled. Clear, bright tones.

The sound is impressive, phenomenal and powerful, full of overtones!
The tone sustains beautifully and is rich in overtones.

Jambati bowl
The wall is slightly curved and tall, the bottom is small. The upper rim of the thicker bowls is inwardly somewhat thickened. These bowls may be able to reach an octave higher. But this one is deep and penetrating.

Each singing bowl is unique and has its own character, tuning and timbre.
This bowl has patina consistent with its age. About 100 years old!

Complete with a suitable striker and cloth.

Made from an alloy of seven metals
