Private collection, Paris

Joseph R. Salas Martinez Cuban artist and designer born in 1949; he studied typography and graphic design starting in 1972 at the San Alejandro Academy in Havana and took part in Professor German Sittauer's design course.
In 1973, he began working as a graphic designer and participated in the III Juvenile Hall of Art; three years later, in 1976, he joined the Hermanos Saiz Association. In 1981, he founded the group «Temps libre» with four other designers. In 1992, he joined the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and began working as an independent artist. In 1997, he joined the “Project Landscape.”
