Description :
Magnificent salt-glazed stoneware vase by the French potter Jean-Claude Courjault, dating from the 1970s.
This piece, entirely handmade, features a rich and textured decoration characteristic of the artist's work: organic and sun motifs in relief, with a nuanced glaze and granular effects typical of salt firing.
The vase bears a double signature: an incised signature under the base as well as on the body, with the inscription "pièce unique", attesting to the unique nature of the piece.
