NIGRI is an ITALIAN company dedicated to the manufacture of luxury chess sets.

It is an artistic creation made with Carrara marble powder from the NIGRI brand quarries, from the year 2000. 32 pieces flattened and touched up one by one before being aged and hand-painted, a process carried out in Italy, in the province of Lucca.

This chess set recreates the Battle of Waterloo between the French army led by Napoleon and the coalition of European nations led by the Duke of Wellington.
Great detail in its craftsmanship. They are of a very comfortable size for playing, with a king height (Napoleon, Wellington) of 7 cm and a pawn height (soldiers) of 4.5 cm.
