Pair of two elegant antique carriage lanterns dating from the late 19th century, testaments to the artisanal craftsmanship involved in horse-drawn transport.

These lanterns were mounted on horse-drawn carriages (fiacres) and were used to light nighttime travels.

The first model is made of painted metal, and the other is brass.

Light deformations are visible on the brass one, and the other has a missing cap as shown in the photos.

Both pieces retain their original glass.

Ensemble de deux élégantes lanternes anciennes de calèche datant de la fin du XIX eme siècle témoins du savoir faire artisanal lié au transport hippomobile. 

Ces lanternes étaients fixées sur les voitures à cheval (fiacre) et servaient à éclairer les déplacements nocturnes. 

Le premier modèle est un métal peint et l'autre est en laiton. 

Légères déformations visibles pour celle en laiton et l'autre a un manque sur le chapeau comme montré sur les photos. 

Les deux pièces ont leurs verres d'origine.
