Description from the seller
Paolo Contin
Nero su Bianco
Acrylic on canvas - Mixed media - Hand-signed - 2026
Original painting sold directly by the artist
The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame 70 x 70 x 4 cm
Certificate of authenticity dated and hand-signed on the back of the canvas.
Shipments are not accepted to countries outside the European Community due to prohibitive costs.
The painting has 4 cm edges that replace the frame, as is common with abstract paintings, so it is ready to hang without further expenses and, compared to a painting solely on canvas, offers great convenience both economically and practically.
The shipping costs for this painting may seem high but they reflect the dimensions of the work and correspond to various quotes from different shipping companies.
The artist, distant from schools and trends, creates his own works as a free man, following exclusively his own ideals and personal objectives.
In this tactile painting one is immersed in a recent past from which memories of the great Artist and Master Emilio Vedova emerge, whom I had the honor of knowing personally, and whose works often lead the viewer to long moments of Meditation.
Paolo Contin has had a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. From 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo exhibition in Padua, followed by many shows in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
