Unique work, entirely hand-painted.
The painting depicts a female portrait with classical inspiration, immersed in an intimate and contemplative atmosphere, where the figure appears enveloped in a warm, enveloping light. The lowered gaze and delicate posture suggest a moment of introspection, suspended between presence and thought. The painted surface is dominated by amber and brown tones, enriched by soft luminous nuances that model the volumes with extreme delicacy. This chromatic choice, highly evocative, recalls the tradition of oil painting and helps create a warm, deep vibration capable of conveying a sense of calm and contemplation.
The balance between light and shadow, together with the fluidity of the brushstrokes, gives the work a timeless character, in which the figure naturally emerges from the background with elegant ease. In person, the richness of the color stratifications and the texture of the painted surface can be perceived more intensely, qualities that are only partially perceptible in photography.
Italian artist born in 1978, she has developed an autonomous painting path rooted in European figurative tradition, with particular attention to oil painting. Her research sits within a cultural continuity linked to the Italian painting tradition, matured through personal study and long-term practice.
Over the years she has developed a recognizable painting language, aimed at a timeless figuration, in dialogue with the history of classical art reinterpreted with contemporary sensitivity.
Her works are present in private collections in Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and internationally, with growing interest from collectors in the United States and Asia. She lives and works in Italy.
