Description from the seller
Title: Fragmented Face #30
Series: The 1000 Faces
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
This work presents a powerful stylized portrait, where the central figure is interpreted through a rigorous geometric composition and blocks of flat color. The face, symmetrically divided by a central vertical line, shows a striking chromatic duality: the left half in a vibrant orange with a circular red cheekbone, and the right in a pale yellow. On the right cheek, a thick vertical black stripe stands out, adding a graphic element of depth and dramatic contrast. The facial features are defined by clean, precise lines, with almond-shaped eyes and lips in a deep red tone.
The figure wears an elaborate turban or headdress constructed from a network of facetated geometric shapes in a palette that combines pastel and saturated tones: pale pinks, light blues, oranges, reds and turquoise, creating an architectural structure atop the head.
The background is composed of four large rectangular color blocks that reinforce the balance of the piece: intense yellow, coral red, deep navy blue, and blue-gray, integrating the figure into a modern and structured environment. The result is a contemporary, visually impactful piece, ideal for collectors seeking works that fuse portraiture with geometric abstraction.
The canvas is carefully rolled and securely packaged in a sturdy tube for shipping.
The images you are seeing now are examples of how the artwork might look when framed and hung on a wall.

Art Series:
The 1000 Faces is an evolving artistic project conceived as a collection in progress, envisioned both from its conceptual value and its projection in the contemporary art market. The series proposes the creation of 1000 original works, each unique, numbered, and linked to a common recognizable visual language, which makes the set a solid and collectible body of work.
My artistic practice centers on reinterpretation of portraiture through a geometric and contemporary approach. Each face is built with color planes, defined lines, and fragmented structures that generate compositions that are balanced but dynamically altered. This tension between order and rupture gives each piece its own identity, while maintaining coherence within the series.
The use of color is intentional and strategic: contrasts between warm and cool tones that provide visual strength and immediate appeal, qualities particularly valued on platforms like Catawiki, where first impressions matter. The clean, modern, and highly recognizable compositions facilitate their integration into different spaces, private or professional.
From a collection perspective, The 1000 Faces is conceived as a progressive acquisition opportunity. Each work is numbered (for example, #001 / 1000), reinforcing its limited character within the global project and adding long-term value. As the series grows, so does its relevance and coherence as a collective, increasing interest for collectors.
This project not only offers visually striking pieces but also a clear and consistent narrative: an exploration of contemporary identity through repetition, variation, and formal synthesis. In the context of online selling, these qualities allow positioning each work not only as a decorative piece but as part of an artistic project with vision, continuity, and potential for appreciation.
The 1000 Faces is designed to be collected, evolved, and established as a recognizable series within accessible contemporary art.
