Old nomadic Kilim - kilim - Kurdish - Turkey

Beautiful, colorful, and motif-rich kilim. It consists of two vertical sections, which points to its nomadic origin. The textile was offered in the souks of Aleppo (Halep). The border is finished in a specific Kurdish style with goat hair. Goat hair is, after all, stronger than wool and thus provides greater protection against wear. Light wear zones are noticeable in the fabric. An authentic weave that, with the present loops, could be used as a horse blanket.
