Description from the seller
LALIQUE FRANCE
Vase / flacon “Deux Anémones” ou presse-papier en verre moulé-pressé, satiné
Elegant piece from Lalique France, this vase/flacon stands out with its globular silhouette topped by a spectacular stopper formed of two blooming anemones. The corollas, finely veined, display a subtle contrast between satinized areas and the black patina, an emblematic aesthetic signature of Lalique’s floral universe. The modeling of the decoration, the softness of the satin finish, and the quality of the sculpture give the piece a very refined presence, both decorative and sculptural.
This model is part of the famous line of Lalique’s Anemones creations, a major floral theme of the house, introduced during René Lalique’s era and later continued by Lalique France. The composition captivates with the balance between the transparency of the spherical body and the graphic strength of the floral stopper, a true sculpture in glass.
Signature: Lalique France at the base and on the stem
Condition: Excellent condition, minor defects not visible.
