Sylvie Overheul - Jouer saute-mouton

Sylvie Overheul is among the top Dutch portrait painters. Her paintings are usually magical-realistic with plenty of room for subtle absurdity and humor, as can be seen in this painting ‘Haasje over’ (Wolf jumping over sheep).

Sylvie was a semi-finalist for the honorable ‘Artist of the Year’ competition in 2026 with her body of work. Her name is listed at number 15 in the top 100 of the Gallery of Contemporary Artists. She has also appeared on Dutch television as a master painter.

She studied at the Art Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
