On a bright, slightly atmospheric white background, a horizontal slit of metallic pigment runs through the composition with mineral and electric presence. Silver, graphite, charcoal black and gold glints intertwine in a dense, granular strip, where matter behaves like a fragment of geology: crystals, ash and light compressed in a single gesture.

The work plays with the contrast between the quiet of the white field and the tactile intensity of the central line. The white is not empty: it breathes, vibrates and lifts the metallic strip, which seems to float over the canvas with the force of a crack opened on the surface. Fine splashes and gold accents introduce a jewel-like pulse, an almost nocturnal vibration within a daytime palette.
