Renzo Eusebi - Work No. 59 - Mixed media on board, an important material work by Renzo Eusebi, a prominent figure in the Italian abstract scene, born in 1946 and cofounder of notable artistic movements such as Transvisionism and the G.A.D. (group of dialectical aniconism).

Mixed media with the inclusion of silica sand and enamels on a wooden board, created in 1998, work No. 59 (see back) belongs to a fundamental phase of the artist's maturity. In this work Eusebi explores the power of matter; the use of sand creates a granular and three-dimensional surface that responds dynamically to light. The color palette, dominated by a deep Bordeaux red and brown, wraps into a central spiral movement that suggests a primordial genesis or an expanding cosmic energy. The adoption of a wooden board as support provides stability to the material stratification.
