B. Morah presents ‘Bosque Ingrávido 110 XXL’, acrylic on cotton canvas, 100 cm high by 120 cm wide, original edition created in 2026 and hand-signed, a surreal landscape inspired by Magritte with a multicoloured palette.
Description from the seller
Weightless Forest 110 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Weightless Forest”, trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that anchors them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not casual: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Weightless Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberating act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Weightless Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
