B. Morah presents Bosque Ingrávido 98 XL, an original 2026 acrylic on cotton canvas landscape in a multicolour palette with blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and red, hand-signed and accompanied by an original certificate of authenticity; part of a Magritte-inspired surreal series, produced in Spain and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 98 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes the setting for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The Magritte reference is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, blazing reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we remove weight from nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, an act of visual liberation that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravid Forest” already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
