Description from the seller
- Work provided with an authenticity certificate, signed and numbered by the artist SKE.
- Number 05/50
- « Addicted to style. Overdosed by brands. »
Symbol of power, elegance, desire… and sometimes dependency.
Behind the veneer of luxury, “Cocaine Bullet” questions the blurry boundary between admiration and addiction.
This series of 4 works, inspired by both the codes of luxury and the culture of excess, denounces with irony our thirst for possession and recognition.
Each piece is a cartridge of illusion: shiny, attractive, but devoid of meaning once consumed.
Because deep down, the real overdose is that of appearing.
- Supreme Theme, Coca-Cola and Louis Vuitton monogram
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE has been selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and has also been featured in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, cementing his place on the contemporary art scene. Parallel to this, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that has become essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to initiate or enrich a collection with rising value.
Renowned & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. In his line, one can read the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to take Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms and place them in a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo world and the iconic Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), as well as Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of a Daniel Arsham or a Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your interior.
