Description from the seller

- Limited edition of the work "Goldorak Reborn" by the artist SKE
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-grade Hahnemühle art paper.
- ISO A3 format (42x29.7 cm) easy to frame.
- Edition number: 03/10
With "Goldorak Reborn", SKE transforms the legendary icon of Japanese animation into a true monument of urban culture.

The famous robot appears here as an alloy relic marked by time: cracked armor, graffiti, symbols and splashes of paint bear witness to the passage of generations and the appropriation of the myth by street art aesthetics. Between futuristic vestige and urban fresco, Goldorak becomes a contemporary statue dedicated to the memory of pop culture.

Despite the marks of time, the giant still stands, symbol of resilience and rebirth.

A powerful work blending nostalgia, manga culture and the energy of street art, intended for collectors sensitive to timeless icons.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with wide-ranging interests who grew up in the 1980s/1990s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then voted Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October and also gained a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, strengthening his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a style that has become essential.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Listed & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His linework reflects the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to subvert Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the iconic Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured work that sometimes evokes the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
