Description from the seller
- Limited edition of the work "Cosmic Walk" by the artist SKE
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-grade Hahnemühle art paper.
- ISO A3 format (42x29.7 cm), easy to frame.
- Edition number: 02/10
With "Cosmic Walk", SKE imagines an unexpected meeting between two absolute childhood myths: the timeless sweetness of Snoopy and the legendary power of Goldorak.
In a scene that is at once tender, funny, and deeply nostalgic, the famous beagle launches into the night sky wearing the mythical helmet of the giant robot, while his silhouette appears in the distance like an apparition. The work plays on memory, imagination, and the unique ability that certain icons have to cross generations without losing their power to astonish.
Between a homage to Japanese pop culture and the poetry of the Snoopy universe, SKE composes here an image full of freshness, where humor meets collective memory.
An endearing and immediately recognizable work, created for collectors sensitive to rare crossovers between comics, cult animation, and generational nostalgia.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a wide range of skills who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large majority of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as the "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence Gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also established himself in the digital artworks market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play define a style that has become essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE's work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to rework the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, TAG Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art with textured finishes, sometimes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your interior.
