Description from the seller
Thick canvas artwork mounted on a frame.
Mixed media: spray paint, acrylic markers and collage on cardboard.
Dimensions: 80x80 cm.
Depth: 4 cm.
Signed with a marker at the bottom right of the piece.
Artwork in a street art style representing the darkest of the heroes from comics: Batman.
The artist aimed to depict him from the rooftops of Gotham City, leaping from building to building in pursuit of the worst criminals of the underworld.
Pappay blends street art and pop culture in a vibrant, contemporary palette.
The character was created on a cardboard base pasted in relief to give more depth to the scene, and he seems to be leaping out of the painting.
Perfect condition, freshly out of the artist's studio.
