Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.

"mystery" This work doesn't reveal itself immediately; it takes time. And that's precisely its essence.
The earthy, olive, and ochre palette creates the feeling of an ancient excavation fragment, a coded text, a discovered artifact. The green background around the edges isn't natural, but rather a patina, the patina of time on bronze or stone.
In the upper left corner is a circle with a shadow inside: an eye, or a hole, or an unanswered question. In the lower right is its echo: a golden circle in a black rim, already closed, already answered. Between them, the entire composition resembles a path from ignorance to understanding, which each viewer traverses individually.
The steps of the staircase on the left, the only literal element, hint at a descent into depth, into layers of meaning. Organic curves coexist with rigid geometry: the living and the mechanical do not contradict, but complement each other.
The painting provides no answer. It is the question.
