This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project by the digital artist Cess in which each letter of the alphabet becomes a visual homage to great figures in art.

The piece interprets the letter X through the plastic language of HAP Grieshaber, recognized for his woodcut work and his expressive, direct approach, deeply linked to the graphic form. The composition is built through a fragmented geometric structure, where planes of vibrant color assemble as if they were carved or assembled pieces, evoking the artisanal and structural character of wood printing.

The angular volumes and the marked edges recall the cutting and engraving process, while the color palette — intense and contrasted — brings dynamism and contemporaneity to the work. Each face of the letter functions as an independent plane, generating a visual play between depth, light and color that transforms the X into a pictorial sculpture.

The result is a piece that combines tradition and modernity: on the one hand, the material and graphic spirit of woodcut; on the other, the precision and cleanliness of digital 3D art. The letter ceases to be a typographic sign and becomes an artistic object with its own presence.

Made entirely in 3D (CGI), the work has been modeled with special attention to volumetric construction and the interaction of the planes, achieving an aesthetic that recalls both manual and digital.

The Artphabet has been disseminated internationally in media specialized in art, design and creativity, consolidating itself as a standout series within the landscape of contemporary digital art.
