Description from the seller
From the collection "Parenthesis"
Flowers arises from a glance at flowers, but it departs from their form to retain only the essence: color, free growth. The pink opens like a bright petal, the green breathes like leaves in motion, the purple envelops and fades. The black defines, gives depth to the work, making it less delicate and more real, transforming the lightness of the flowers into something more instinctive and contemporary. And then there is the gold, like a reflection in the sun, capable of illuminating and creating balance.
The work is part of the series "Parenthesis", a collection that explores the idea of art as a suspended space. Each painting represents a temporary and creative "parenthesis": a moment of rupture from the daily flow, an interval in which the artist's instinct takes over, enclosing a pure emotion between two silences.
Shaula Toma, with a degree in Art, expresses herself through acrylic colors and spatulas. With an expressive and textural style, her works arise from instinctive gestures, which, using layers of color, create vibrant textures and dynamic. Translating the unpredictability of emotions and time into lights and shadows, calm and storm, her creations communicate an incessant dialogue between energy and harmony.
The work is shipped rolled in a sturdy tube, with tracking code. Each canvas is stretched with meticulous technique, without nails and then released again, so that no creases form.
