The nature of the technique I use makes every piece of the series a unique, unrepeatable work. The final piece may vary slightly in size and texture from the photos and the text.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, three-quarters interrupted by a hollowed portion. I consider this piece a vindication of the Self against the perils of existence, but also an innate longing toward the heights. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollowed portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as a set of parts that, if unused, remain pressed as empty traces of past experiences.
