Beautiful, finely executed work by the Marseille painter Alexandre Isailoff, depicting the Marseille coast along the small road to the sea at the end of a summer day.
The artist has masterfully captured with his colors the atmosphere of a summer day in Provence.
This work draws directly on the technique of his master, the painter Jean-Baptiste Olive.
Born in Constantinople, he studied with Regnier at the École nationale des Beaux-Arts de Marseille, then with Jean-Baptiste OLIVE. At the end he turned to a career as painter-draftsman. He completed his training with a trip to the Orient, from which he returned to France and settled in Paris. He exhibited in various Salons, including the Champs-Élysées show. His production is devoted to depicting, with warm colors, landscapes of Provence and Italy.
This painting can form a pair with the other work currently for sale.
Dimensions: 32 x 41 cm without frame and 43 x 50 cm with its natural wood frame.
