Beautiful, finely executed work by the Marseille painter Alexandre Isailoff, depicting the Marseille coast along the small road to the sea at the end of a summer day.
The artist has masterfully captured with his colors the atmosphere of a summer day in Provence.
This work draws directly on the technique of his master, the painter Jean-Baptiste Olive.
Born in Constantinople, he studied with Regnier at the École nationale des Beaux-Arts de Marseille, then with Jean-Baptiste OLIVE. At the end he turned to a career as painter-draftsman.
