Each painting is painted beyond the displayed dimensions to allow mounting on a stretcher without a frame. Thus, the visible sides of the stretcher are part of the painting. But you can also add a frame (see photos, stretcher and frame not included).

Understanding the dimensions: they are raw. Usually 4 to 7 cm are added to each side of the canvas to allow proper stretching on a stretcher. The larger the canvas, the larger the margin.
For example, for an XXL canvas of 145 cm by 145 cm, the stretcher will be 130 cm x 130 cm, i.e. 7.5 cm on each side.
