- COLLECTION "Rough SKEtch" :
This is that suspended moment between the idea and the explosion.
The instant when the line hesitates—before transforming into a visual punch.
With this series, SKE revisits comic book heroes, paper icons, and the doodled legends of his childhood but in his own way: raw, vibrant, remixed.
Each piece in the collection reveals a character in full mutation:
- On one side, the original sketch, scribbled like an forgotten archive.
- On the other, a colored, finished version, twisted by urban style and the energy of street art.
Tearing effect, layering of eras, deliberate contrast between graphic innocence and contemporary gaze…
"Rough SKEtch" blurs the lines between past and present, paper and pavement, nostalgia and provocation.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up amid the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was named "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a publication in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, cementing his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, boosting the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a style that has become essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist Rated & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual impact of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge the ages: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to remix Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to face a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin) appear together. He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy sheen of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
