Description from the seller

A unique glass decanter, a so-called "Kluk Kluk" (or Glug-Glug) bottle, also called a squeeze bottle.

Design: The decanter has four deeply pinched sides that converge in the middle, creating the distinctive hourglass shape.

Decoration: This specific model is decorated with inlaid glass details, including sawtooth ribs (rigaree) on the sides and round rosettes or berry-shaped bumps on the body, and the original stopper has the same ornament.

Origin: Similar carafes were frequently produced by renowned glassworks such as Holmegaard (Denmark) and Hadeland (Norway).
Dating: Although the design has existed since the 18th century, many examples with these specific decorations date from around 1880–1900.

The decanter is in good but used condition and shows signs appropriate to its age.
