πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition Curator, Music Critic…)
Versatile plastic artist and form-passing, presenting ROBBIT: a series of colorfully exuberant sculptures, playful tribute to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons, and Kaws, buoyed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection unfolds into four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop boldness and playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, conceived to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
