Peppe Nocerino - Libera

Peppe Nocerino was born in Torre del Greco and is currently active in Ercolano, a city where he lives and develops his artistic path. Self-taught, he has nourished since childhood an interest and sensitivity toward art, which, however, only translated into concrete practice in the last six years, when this inclination transformed into a constant and structured activity.

His research focuses on the use of matter as the main expressive medium. Through the use of stucco, plaster, and textured pastes, he creates works characterized by relief surfaces and pronounced three-dimensionality.

Since the end of 2025 he has broadened his language by introducing installations and sculptures, working with materials such as wood and metals and deepening the dialogue between organic and industrial elements.

The bond with his homeland, in particular the Vesuvian area, represents a central element of his path, influencing both the choice of materials and the approach to composition.

During 2025 and 2026 he has taken part in numerous group exhibitions and artistic events. Among these: the collective “Season” (March 2026) at the Tobian Art Gallery, in Florence; “Le stanze dell’arte” (February 2026) at Palazzo Fruscione, in Salerno; and “Petali di forza” (February 2026) at the Sanctuary of Santa Maria a Parete, in Liveri.

In 2025 he exhibited during the event “Voci d’autore Jazz Festival” (September) at Molini Marzoli, in Torre del Greco; he participated in the group show “Artephoria” (June) and other private events in the same city; and in the group show “Spring” (April) at the San Francesco Monumental Complex, in Giffoni Valle Piana.

The artwork is realized with a hand-cut and drilled wooden trunk, followed by controlled charring and protective varnishing to protect the carbon layer.
A heart in aluminum, cast in foundry with subsequent bath to give a gold effect, worked with putty to render the surface aged and shiny and to create a play of light and shadow. Aluminum base painted.

The work is located in Ercolano, province of Naples. Certificate of authenticity to be printed at the moment of any sale by the undersigned artist. Hand-signed on the back with a gold-colored acrylic pen.
