Gio Mondelli is a contemporary Italian artist with a multifaceted profile. His painting research has focused mainly on discovering new techniques, styles and trends. After an academic career, his works already capture the essence of Symbolist and Surrealist painting. For a short period he painted more classical and hyper-realistic pieces, but he was not satisfied until he became an Expressionist. Art critics appreciate his paintings for offering a truly unique perspective on the landscape.
Gio Mondelli was born in 1953, in Italy, where he graduated from LABA Libera Accademia di Belle Arti. His works are in private collections in Belgium, Germany, France and the United States.
