Ella Suárez’s Nenufar azul - XL (no reserve) is an original acrylic painting in multicolor, 100 by 80 cm, signed by hand on the back, produced in Spain after 2020, with a COA, sold directly by the artist, depicting nature as an expanded floral system.
Description from the seller
Blue Water Lily from the System Floral series
Original work
In System Floral, Ella Suárez treats the flower as a complex, constantly expanding structure. Far from a descriptive representation, the series proposes an approach where the floral form unfolds as a field of study: a system of relations between center, periphery, rhythm, and growth.
The works are built from a close-up gaze that amplifies scale and transforms perception. The petals, openings, and internal cores expand to fill the plane, generating compositions where the flower ceases to be a recognizable object and becomes an organic architecture.
The concept of the expanded flower runs through the series as a way of thinking about nature from its interior. The shapes open, fold, and overlap, revealing dynamics of tension and balance that refer to processes of development, transformation, and deployment.
Color acts as structure and energy. The palettes organize into transitions that build depth and vibration, articulating a space where each plane responds to an internal logic. The relationship between light, matter, and form creates an intense, almost tactile presence, placing the viewer in a proximity experience.
In System Floral the flower is understood as a system and as a process: a living form that is not represented, but built and transformed in the painting.
Authenticity of the work:
