'Monochromatic Gaze'

This stripped-down portrait of its original polychromy and reconstructed through a range of burgundy and plum tones reinterprets Twiggy's face not only as a fashion icon but as a landscape of lights and shadows.

The wash on canvas challenges the traditional fragility of paper, allowing a more organic and deep texture. The use of translucent layers emphasizes the timelessness of her gaze, capturing that characteristic blend of vulnerability and sophistication that defined an era.

It is a visual synthesis exercise: where color is limited, expression expands.
