Based on the nature of the technique I use to produce the works, each element of the series should be considered a unique piece.
"Ascesa" is the first in a series of artifacts. It consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted at three quarters by a hollowed portion. I consider this work a revenge of the Self against the odysseys of existence, but also an innate yearning upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the race of form toward the summit is characterized as an ensemble of parts that, when unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
