I created an oil-on-canvas painting depicting a young woman with copper-red hair, captured in profile in a moment of contemplation.

The woman I am depicting is seated on a windowsill, with a stylized urban skyline in the background, rendered in neutral, muted tones that harmoniously contrast with the complexion’s radiance and the warm tones of the hair.

I want to highlight the female figure, shaping it with soft lines and a realistic rendering of the face and proportions, while the background takes on a more evocative and modern character, creating an interesting balance between figurative and contemporary.
