Description from the seller

Dick Bruna: “Miffy and Ducks”.

In the margin, in small print, is the name of the artist, the title of the work, and copyright.
The work is in excellent condition.

Miffy was conceived by the Dutch graphic artist Dick Bruna, who was born in 1927 - the year of the rabbit according to the Japanese zodiac.

In 1955, during a rainy seaside vacation in the Netherlands, Dick Bruna amused his young son by sketching a tame rabbit that hopped around in the garden of their holiday home. Before bedtime he invented stories about the rabbit, and thus the character Miffy (Nijntje in the original Dutch) was born.

The Miffy stories have now been published in more than 50 languages and more than 85 million copies have been sold. Miffy has her own TV series - Miffy en Vrienden - and toys and merchandise are sold on five continents.

Dick Bruna has published 124 picture books to date (of which 30 are about Miffy) and is one of the most borrowed authors in Dutch libraries. Bruna has over the years illustrated more than 2000 book jackets and more than 100 posters.

Never framed and is kept in a dark archival storage among protective acid-free paper. The shown photos are part of the description, the shown list (size) is for illustration and is not included.

This artwork is carefully securely packed and shipped in protective acid-free paper.
No shipping possible to the Canary Islands.
