Maria Gordeeva(1970) - Giraffe

From the age of 12 she studied in an art studio, she won the city competition “Nature through the Eyes of Children” twice, since 1985 she studied at the Kharkiv Art High School, since 1999 she began painting with oils. She loves landscapes the most, is also drawn to still lifes; the author favors a realist direction in painting but also enjoys working in a surrealist style. Maria's works have been shown at solo exhibitions in Ukraine and the United Kingdom; two solo exhibitions were organized in Portsmouth at Ortho Space and The Lodge Arte Center. The last exhibition featuring her works took place in Ukraine, in the city of Dnipro, under the title “Art of the Unconquered.” The dimensions of the painting are 50×40 cm; the edges are painted, the work is varnished, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
