"Playa" is a work that depicts two bodies lying on a beach. The figures, composed of pictorial fragments, are merely suggested. The colors are the colors of summer. Spanish figurative painter. Born in Segovia in 1976, self-taught draftsman and painter for years. He has exhibited his work in public venues and national and international art fairs since 2014.
His interests are very varied; he conceives painting as a tool for reconnecting with oneself. His creative process has evolved over time; experimentation and the search for new paths, methods, and materials are the engine of his career. However, it can be said that the deconstruction of form and dialogue with the history of art have been two pillars that have remained, around which he finds the freedom to create and to convey.
This attitude has led him through different paths in his life, trying different formulas and genres such as still life, the representation of personal objects, drawing and painting the human body, or symbolism and narrative. His main longing is to develop a painting of a personal character that connects with him, in which humor is almost always present."
