XTC presents Mc Hermès full gold, a glass, plastic and metal sculpture from France, 15 × 27 × 15 cm, created in 2026, edition 2/20, signed by hand, with COA included.
Description from the seller
Full-gold Mc Hermes cone by XTC.
A détournement of a McDonald’s cone, the crossing of luxury and mass consumption.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything was created from plastics and painted by XTC, with very shiny faux gold diamonds!
The glass dome is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered out of 20 below, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(indicated piece sent may not be the same as the photo)
Careful and trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC fashioned his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration became a passion that needed to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
