Rare original US flag, steeped in history.
It measures 150 x 90 cm, is marked U.S. and dated 1945.
The 48 stars are embroidered.
It is not at all torn nor moldy but it is very dirty with orange rust-like stains in places. It is truly in its “as is” condition; you can tell it has been dirty since that era.
It comes from Longvilly, a village in Belgium, near the Luxembourg border and Bastogne.
American soldiers placed it there after fighting the Wehrmacht so hard, and finally being able to retake the village after a counteroffensive.

Il mesure 150 x 90cm, est marqué U.S. et daté 1945.
Les 48 étoiles sont brodées.
Il n'est pas du tout déchiré ni moisi mais il est très sale avec par endroit comme des taches orange de rouille. Il est vraiment dans son jus, on voit qu'il est sale depuis cette époque.
Il provient de Longvilly, un village en Belgique, proche de la frontière Luxembourgeoise et de Bastogne.
Les soldats Américains l'y ont placé après avoir tant combattu la Whermacht, et enfin pu reprendre le village après une contre offensive.

Il sera bien emballé et envoyé avec suivi de colis.
