Description from the seller
A cobbled square at night, bathed in a blue almost moonlit. A woman in a 1950s grey dress stands beside a streetlamp, looking off into the distance. At her feet, in a perfectly still puddle, her reflection — inverted, slightly distorted, darker than she is. The streetlamp is reflected too, its light doubled by the water, the square doubled by its own mirror.
LeYack builds here an image of absolute duality — the woman and her liquid shadow, the city and its inverted double. The blue that invades everything is unreal and perfectly right at the same time: it is the color of night as we remember it, not as it is.
