Description from the seller
A bathroom in a Parisian Haussmannian apartment, morning. Two large arched windows open onto zinc roofs and brick chimneys. White voile curtains flutter in the draft. A woman in a white bathrobe sits on the edge of a lion-paw-foot tub, reading a letter or a card. At her feet, a tray with a coffee and an intact croissant.
LeYack paints the Parisian morning of discreet luxury — no ostentation, no magazine-worthy decor. Just morning light on marble, Parisian rooftops through the open window, a woman alone with something written. The intact croissant perhaps says something about what she’s reading.
