Description from the seller
An American road as straight as an endless sentence cuts across a desert plain. Power lines line it up to the horizon. In the distance, a 1950s car pulls away — small, gray, already almost disappeared. In the foreground, a woman seen from behind, a neat black bun, white scarf tied at the nape, a dark coat. She watches the car depart. Or she watches the road. Both are the same.
Yack paints America from the inside — not the postcard version but the America of departures, silences, distances impossible to measure in kilometers. The palette is desaturated, almost monochrome, beige and gray and brown. The road is the sole character that says nothing and says everything.
Artwork features:
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist on the front and back of the work.
Technique: Giclée print on canvas, using high-quality pigment printing for faithful reproduction of details and colors.
Edition: Limited to 20 copies, individually numbered.
Dimensions: 40 x 40 cm.
Framing: Delivered ready to frame, according to your preferences.

About the artist:
LeYack (born in 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern storytelling with painterly heritage. Drawing inspiration from photography and cinema, he reinterprets the codes of realism to inject palpable emotional tension. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the implied story.
