Description from the seller
Concetta Daidone was born in Atri, Italy in 1962.
A single work in acrylic with a thick, tactile texture on wood panel
signed and with the Artist's Certificate
- Concetta Daidone was born in Atri, Italy in 1962.
Exhibitions: the most recent ones we recall include the one at the Museo delle Genti d’Abruzzo in Pescara and the one at the Museo Ugo Guidi in Forte dei Marmi. Her canvases are animated by a powerful and pulsating expressiveness that takes shape thanks to a mixed technique characterized by a sharp, geometrical and jagged materiality. “The artist, with her works, tells us her world rich in poignant melancholy, yet at the same time dense with emotion and vital energy. Looking at her paintings one cannot help but notice a certain modesty, almost not wanting to fully reveal her sensitive soul. Her landscapes, never exclusively descriptive, but always a manifestation of her way of interacting with the things around her, speak to us of her better than any biography. The study of color, the brushwork, the delicate glazes, render magical the atmosphere that one breathes while observing her works.” (Roberto Di Giampaolo)
