Description from the seller
The night withdraws,
and the sky breathes color.
In the play of light and water
there lies a quiet awakening –
uncertain, yet full of possibilities......
New day........
Petra Erengil is a contemporary painter whose work is characterized by a distinctive spatula technique, strong structures, and warm, Mediterranean-inflected color worlds. Her visual language combines expressive dynamism with atmospheric light moods and makes landscapes, urban scenes, and southern motifs appear in vivid depth.
She regularly participates in national and international exhibitions and presents her works in her own small gallery with an open studio in Göttingen. Her works are in private collections at home and abroad.
Artistic focal points:
– spatula technique and impasto surfaces
– Mediterranean landscapes, southern urban scenes, Tuscan motifs
– warm color palettes with white and light scenes
– acrylic and oil painting in expressive, texture-rich execution
I send my works with a certificate of authenticity and the pictures are protected with varnish.
