Description from the seller

JD Paris - #15 - Allure of Velvet

Description :

A silhouette unfolds in a subtle play of shadow and light, where black and white elevate every curve with timeless elegance. The work captures a suspended moment, between admitted sensuality and quiet delicacy. The lace textures, finely drawn by the light, create a striking contrast with the softness of the body and the depth of the shadows projected on the wall.

Inspired by classic photographic aesthetics and cinematic chiaroscuro, this minimalist composition invites the eye to explore the boundary between mystery and revelation. The deliberately pared-down framing focuses attention on gesture, texture, and emotion, offering a reading that is at once intimate and universal.

This work celebrates femininity in its most artistic form: a strong, elegant, and deeply human presence. A contemporary piece with refined character, ideal for collectors who appreciate art photography, black and white, and visually poetic compositions.

Dimensions: 40x 60 cm

Regarding my background, I am a Parisian photographer, passionate, self-taught but deeply nourished by art and light. For several years, I have dedicated my gaze to capturing what is not said: emotions, suspended moments, the contrasts between shadow and clarity. Light is, for me, a language, a guiding thread that links my works together — it shapes, reveals and sometimes conceals, like human emotions.

My work has been shown in several group exhibitions in Paris and the surrounding region, as well as at events dedicated to contemporary photography. Each series is an intimate exploration of sensitivity and the poetry of daily life.

Authentic Photography: AI only for grain and texture.
