Two antique hammered copper pots with a hammered texture, three legs, and a handle. This type of object is also known as a Grape or a decorative fire kettle.
These kettles were historically used for cooking over an open fire, but today are mainly used as decoration or as flower pots.
Material: The pot is made of red copper with cast iron accents for the handles and legs.
Manufacturing: Many of these items are handmade, as visible from the distinct hammer marks on the surface.
Dutch origin: Similar copper items were often produced by manufacturers such as RIO in Tiel.
From 1910 to 1930.
In good condition.
Large kettle: 15 cm high. 16 cm diameter.
Small kettle: 9 cm high, 11 cm diameter.
