Excellent album of 20 loose heliogravure plates by Marcel Vertès, printed in black, sepia-bistre, sanguine and green, each presented with a mat -

These illustrations are “drawn from original etchings from two portfolios previously issued, L’Heure Exquise and Le Pays à mon Goût. Six plates reproduce etchings from Le Pays à mon Goût, nine from L’Heure Exquise, two are inspired by them and three other plates are unpublished” (Dutel).

The front matter text is by Pierre Mac-Orlan.
