My works are characterized primarily by color expression and great dynamism. I lead the viewer into a world of fairy tales, comics, and magical Pop Art. They are not fairy tales for children. The compositions are metaphors of childhood seen through the eyes of an adult. The works are mostly open-ended and have no end; they are only a cut-out (a frame) from the space of imagination. At first glance the works are legible, yet nothing could be further from the truth—each piece, once studied, contains a second layer and expresses emotions, feelings, love, anger, and above all the strength and charisma of women. Every element is an allegory and symbolizes very strong emotions. Each piece is really a book that is fairly easy to interpret—if we only look at it with the eye of imagination. In my work I rely mainly on handcraft and traditional painting. Each time I strive to create rather than to mass-produce my works, hence their small quantity and accessibility.
